During the summers, there is an increased chance of bushfires due to dry trees through other seasons creating the perfect fuel, and hot temperatures. During the winters, strong weather conditions can cause some serious damage to habitats such as trees. Littering is not approved within our boundaries. Littering can affect our native animals and environment in a negative way and also help increase the bush fire.
Fines will range from $210 for general litter, $500 for Class B hazardous litter which includes lit cigarettes or butts, used syringes and glass, and $1,000 for quantities of litter over 50 litres such as illegal dumping.
